East Bay Community Recovery Project is a non-profit drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. E.B.C.R.P. has provided substance abuse treatment, relapse prevention programs, and comprehensive mental health services since 1989. EBCRP has a strong commitment to serving individuals suffering from co-occurring disorders, and was the first organization of its kind to offer residential treatment for pregnant and postpartum women in Alameda County (Project Pride).
Project Pride has assisted women and their children since 1993. Mothers receive training and support on improving socialization, communication, leadership and life skills. The children, eligible for admission if they are 6 years old or younger, receive professional child care, education, play/art/music therapy, and ongoing developmental assessments.
Our volunteers can attest to the enthusiasm our visits generate in everyone involved – moms, infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and staff.
